Trevor Hoffman earned his 600th save tonight. Regardless of what it means to you or me, it was clear that it was a fantastic moment for this team and for the Hoffman family. I’m not exactly sure what the lasting memory of 600 in this organization will be – probably nothing outside of some bobblehead promotions and merchandise – but there’s no denying that Miller Park was electric tonight and that thousands of people were excited to be a part of Trevor’s 600th, no matter how long and arduous the journey was.
