Prospect of the Day:  RHP Jim Henderson

The right-hander has yet to give up a win on the year and throws in the mid-90s with his fastball, but that is not the reason he takes home the Prospect of the Day honors. It’s also not the fact that he struck out three in two innings of work on Sunday evening. Instead, Jim Henderson wins Prospect of the Day because he drove home the game-winning run with a single in the 13th inning.

Henderson is now hitting 1.000 on the year and is perfect with runners in scoring position. His clutch factor is also through the roof.

Hang ‘em up at the plate, kid. It doesn’t get any better than that.
