Prospect of the Day:  3B Mike Walker (Double-A Huntsville)

With the only game in the Brewers’ minor-league system turning into a bit of a clunker, there’s not much to celebrate in terms of doling out POTD awards. Might as well give it to the only player who did something memorable, as Mike Walker connected with his second home run of the season. He’s only hitting .196 after the first few weeks of the season, though.

Thursday evening projects to be much more interesting down on the farm. Right-hander Jimmy Nelson will attempt to continue his phenomenal start to the season for Double-A Huntsville — read this nice scouting report from Mike Newman — while Johnny Hellweg and Jed Bradley are also scheduled to get the ball tonight.
