NASHVILLE, Colorado Springs PPD (Rain)

The Sounds had their game with Colorado Springs postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Chattanooga 0, HUNTSVILLE 2

Huntsville shut out Chattanooga as Jed Bradley worked six scoreless and struck out six. Greg Holle followed with two shutout innings and David Goforth worked the ninth to earn his 22nd save. Robinzon Diaz went 2-for-3. Adam Weisenburger, Joey Paciorek and Bradley each added a single.


Despite a late rally by jupiter, Brevard hung on for a 4-3 win. Hobbs Johnson worked in to the ninth inning picking up his tenth win. Scott Leiser came on to get the final three outs and record the save. Brandon Macias homered and walked in three at bats. Michael Reed added a single, a walk and a stolen base.

Kane County 2, WISCONSIN 3

The Rattlers nipped Kane County 3-2. Anthony Banda started and went five scoreless to earn the win. Luke Curtis worked a scoreless ninth for the save. Clint Coulter went 2-for-4 with a home run and Chris McFarland extended his hitting streak to 13 games.

HELENA 2, Billings 5

Billings beat Helena 5-2. Zach Hirsch and Javier Salas each worked four innings and gave up two earned runs. Hirsch took the loss. Connor Narron led the offense going 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and a walk. Edgardo Rivera, Alan Sharkey and Gregory Munoz each singled for the only other Helena base hits.

AZL Indians 10, AZL BREWERS 4

The Indians crushed the Brewers 10-4. Jordan Yamamoto started and gave up six runs in three innings and took the loss. Caleb Smith worked two scoreless innings of relief and Andy Hillis added a scoreless ninth. Carlos Belonis went 3-for-4 with two doubles. Daniel Leonardo went 2-for-4 and Juan Ortiz added a single and a walk.


The Tigers got four runs in the fifth inning as they knocked off the Brewers 5-3. Orlando Torrez started and went six innings, allowing three earned runs and was tagged with the loss. Melvin Tejada followed and went two innings, giving up an unearned run. Yerald Martinez went 2-for-4 with a walk and Johel Atencio added two hits in five at bats.
