We'd like to go to the Playoffs, that would be cool.

Tacoma 4, NASHVILLE 3

The Sounds tried to mount a late rally, but came up short, falling to Tacoma by a run on Sunday afternoon. Ariel Pena started and struggled with his control, giving up two runs on two hits and six walks in three innings of work. Kyle Heckathorn followed with three scoreless innings of relief, but the Rainiers got to Arcenio Leon for two runs in the seventh as Leon was charged with the loss. Hector Gomez led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a run scored. Eugenio Velez and Caleb Gindl each singled twice in four at bats.

The Stars were off on Sunday as they begin a four day break for the Southern League All-Star game. The game will be held on Tuesday night, with Huntsville returning to action on Thursday when they travel to Pensacola.

The Manatees were off following Saturday night’s Florida State League All-Star game. They will be back in action on Monday when they wrap up the first half of the season with a three game set with Dunedin.

WISCONSIN 2, Quad Cities 13

The Timber Rattlers were blown out in their final game before the All-Star break, falling to Quad Cities 13-2. Clint Terry started and took the loss after giving up six runs in only two innings. Johnny Davis reached base three times for the T-Rats, collecting a single, a triple and a walk. Garrett Cooper went 2-for-4 with a double, while Omar Garcia singled twice in five at bats.
