Podcast, Episode 2.22: “Arguing About Corey Hart” | Disciples of Uecker

Disciples of Uecker

We'd like to go to the Playoffs, that would be cool.

Despite the tough losses this week that have put a significant damper on the Brewers’ postseason dreams, Ryan and I return with another episode of the podcast for your listening pleasure.

Here is the agenda:

  • Introduction
  • Mailbag
    • 2013 Starting Rotation
    • Carlos Gomez Contract Extension?
    • Rickie Weeks
  • Do the Brewers still have a chance?
  • What has been the biggest keys in this winning stretch?
  • What does this mean for 2013?
  • Closing

The logistical matters to which we must attend:

Tell us what do you think.

I couldn’t help but think yesterday as a I listened to the end of the podcast that if we lock Corey Hart up for the 4 years that was being discussed and Hunter Morris is ready, Corey makes good trade bait, especially under a slightly hometown discount contract. Not that this is an answer perse but the option wasn’t even broached. If we sign him we don’t have to keep him.
