Internal options for the bullpen look good. Thornburg and Rogers, and they can spot start if needed, Henderson, Hellweg, De Los Santos, Byrd, Narveson, Kintzler and Stinson can fight it out for the other spots behind Axford and a possible FA. It’s my opinion the Brewers should go after a starter, mid-top tier bullpen arm and bench player. Anibal Sanchez, Sean Marshall and Maicer izturis. Quite a wish list but with less than $50 million committed to next season for Braun, Weeks, Hart, Ramirez, Gallardo, Aoki and Lucroy and so many pre arb or early arb players, it seems possible. It’d be great to have a versatile player like Maicer in case of injuries to Weeks or Ramirez, and to give Segura 1-2 days off per week.
