Presented Without Comment: Record by Runs Scored | Disciples of Uecker

Disciples of Uecker

We'd like to go to the Playoffs, that would be cool.

2011 Milwaukee Brewers
49-9 in 6+ runs scored
40-21 in 3-5 runs scored (27 wins between 3-4 RS)
7-36 in 0-2 runs scored

I'm blaming the endorsements!

2012 Milwaukee Brewers
20-1 with 6+ RS
6-18 with 3-5 RS (4 wins between 3-4 RS)
2-16 with 0-2 RS

If you asked me what the team’s #1 problems is, I would have guessed the inability to score runs. However, your numbers show that’s not the case. Last year, they scored 6+ runs in about 36% of their games, compared to 33% this year (a small dropoff). They scored 3-5 runs in 38% of their games both this year and last, and have scored 0-2 in slightly more games. However, last year they won 66% of the games in which they scored 3-5 runs, compared to only 25% this year. The difference is equal to 10 wins.

Thanks for commenting — isn’t it amazing how those things can change over the course of a year? Just seems like they’re not firing on any cylinders.
