Jeff Sullivan over at Lookout Landing, an absolutely fantastic Mariners blog, posted this most interesting piece on teams and the most similar individual hitters over the last three years. As you can probably tell from the title, the Brewers, with a .261/.333/.426 line, are most similar to White Sox 2B/3B Gordon Beckham, which is interesting given his involvement with Milwaukee in trade rumors earlier this season. Here’s the rest of the NL Central.
Cincinnati: Matt Diaz
Chicago: Aaron Rowand
Houston: Henry Blanco
Pittsburgh: Chris Coste
St. Louis: Garrett Atkins
